New Beginning is an outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic. The clinic is privately owned and managed by clinic director Katy Chancellor-Baker and her husband Gregory S. Baker.
Katy has a master's degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Women's University. After completeing her internships, Katy spent 4 years at Baptist Medical Center/Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida where she was the Assistant Director of Rehab Services. After the family moved to North Georgia in 1996, Katy spent time in home health and outpatient clinics, as well as at Mountainside Medical Center. Katy believes in personally meeting and getting to know each patient and thier support caregivers.
Greg is Managing Director and responsible for all back-office operational policies and procedures and maintaining New Beginning's status as a center of operational excellence. Greg has spent the last 15 years building and managing global consulting and professional services organizations. He specializes in early incubator and startup initiatives in the software and callcenter industry. Greg has master's certificates from George Washington Universtity in Global Business Managment and IT Project Management.
Katy and Greg live in and are active in the Pickens County community. They have 3 children; Ethan, Kyle and Hattie. The Baker family are members of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Jasper.

To achieve quality care and to ensure functional outcomes, the TEAM is committed to working and communicating together. Respect and understanding a clients needs are key decision points in treatment planning.
